BKT Europe Restructures OEM Sales Organisation
Traction News reports that BKT Europe restructures OEM Sales by revising its global OEM sales organisation. The company announced that, effective 24 November 2025, the role of President Global OEM Sales (formerly held by Ludovic Revel) has been eliminated. Under the new structure, all regional divisions will now report directly to Lucia Salmaso, Managing Director of BKT Europe. tyrenews.co.uk
BKT said that the change aims at simplifying decision-making flow and improving commercial governance as the tyre manufacturer pushes forward in the off-highway and original equipment (OE) segments across Europe.
The restructuring comes after BKT had recently appointed Paolo Mantovani as Head OEM Industrial & OTR Europe, part of a broader strategy to deepen the company’s presence in industrial, agricultural, and off-road tyre markets.
With this reorganisation, BKT appears to be streamlining leadership layers while aiming for quicker decisions, tighter control, and improved agility, likely to help the brand respond faster to market demands, manage OE relationships more effectively, and coordinate across diverse regional markets in Europe.

The decision by BKT Europe to restructure OEM Sales may look like dry corporate housekeeping, but it signals something bigger for the global tyre industry. By removing a layer of hierarchy and aligning reporting directly under its Managing Director, BKT is betting on speed and decisiveness. For the tyre ecosystem, especially off-highway, agricultural, industrial, and OTR segments, this could mean faster roll-outs, more responsive supply chains, and sharper alignment with OEM needs.
For markets such as India, where the parent company, Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT), is headquartered, improved global coordination can translate into stronger export strategies, better product planning, and possibly quicker adaptation of tyres designed for diverse conditions. As BKT consolidates its European operations, the ripple effects may well benefit dealers, distributors, and workshops globally, including those beyond Europe, by stabilising supply and speeding innovation in tyre design and availability.
