Hankook Showcases Tyre Innovation Ahead of Formula E Season
Hankook Tire is preparing for its fourth and final season as the exclusive tyre supplier and technology partner for the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. The company is showcasing its latest GEN3 Evo iON Race tyres during pre-season testing at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia from October 27 to 31.
All 10 Formula E teams will test the new tyres, designed for stronger grip, higher efficiency, and long-lasting performance, which is crucial for the demands of electric racing. Since joining Formula E in Season 9, Hankook has played a key role in improving performance, sustainability, and safety across the championship.
The week-long test will also feature a Women’s Test, offering track time to female drivers, and the FIA Girls on Track program supported by Hankook, which will engage about 100 girls aged 12–18 in workshops and team interactions.
The 2024–25 Formula E season will feature 17 races in 11 cities, commencing in São Paulo on December 6 and concluding in London next August.
