International GT, a platform comprising three championships, the Mission Foods GT3 Cup, Stuttgart Cup, and Maranello Cup, has relied on Pirelli’s P Zero racing tyres for performance and durability since the series’ inception more than 12 years ago. Pirelli was the first official sponsor of International GT and has supported on-track tyre supply and technical assistance for competing teams and drivers ever since.
Scott Duncan, Chief Partnerships Officer at Racing America, said the renewal for the 2026 season will feature expanded consumer-facing promotions, media integration, and engagement through digital channels, enhancing visibility and fan interaction. Claudio Zanardo, President and CEO of Pirelli North America, emphasised the shared commitment to innovation, performance, and support for North American motorsport.
The 2026 International GT season is set to include a 10-race calendar, beginning at Sebring International Raceway in February. In addition to its role with International GT, Pirelli also serves as the official tyre supplier for the series’ sister championship, the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli, underlining its broad engagement in grassroots and professional racing in the region.
The continued partnership highlights Pirelli’s focus on competitive motorsport as a test bed for tyre technology, where high levels of performance and reliability are essential. This involvement not only supports racing excellence but also informs the development of road tyre innovations that benefit everyday drivers.

Pirelli’s renewal with International GT reaffirms the value of long-term motorsport alliances in advancing tyre performance and brand engagement. By supplying tyres to a competitive GT3 and GT4 platform year after year, Pirelli reinforces its reputation as a leader in high-performance racing rubber, which in turn strengthens confidence among performance-oriented drivers and enthusiasts.
For the tyre industry, such partnerships are more than sponsorship. They provide real-world environments that push tyre compounds, constructions, and durability to the limits. The insights gained on track often flow into improved road tyres, especially in areas such as grip, wear consistenc,y and heat management. Continued involvement with series like International GT and Trans Am also deepens Pirelli’s connection with motorsport culture, helping bridge the gap between racing pedigree and consumer products.
