New Hyundai Venue Unveils Level 2 ADAS and All-Disc Brakes Ahead of Launch
Hyundai Venue’s second-generation model has revealed a significant upgrade in safety and tech ahead of its Indian launch on November 4, 2025. The compact SUV will feature a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite with 16 functions, including forward collision-avoidance assist for cars, pedestrians, and cyclists, lane-keeping assist, smart cruise control with stop-and-go, and parking collision-avoidance assist.
In addition to the ADAS, the Venue promises more than 65 safety technologies, with 33 items standard across all variants. These include six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), a tyre-pressure monitoring system (TPMS), an electric parking brake with auto-hold, a surround-view camera, and the standout feature of all four-disc brakes for enhanced stopping power.
On the tech side, the SUV introduces a dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic display setup developed in collaboration with NVIDIA, which powers the infotainment system and digital cluster. Powertrain options remain unchanged, with a 1.2-litre MPi petrol, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel available with manual, DCT, or torque-converter automatic transmissions.
Tyre Times’ View:
With safety technology becoming a major differentiator even in compact segments, the upgraded Venue mirrors the evolving expectations of Indian consumers. The inclusion of all-disc brakes, ADAS, and strong structural design shows that manufacturers are prioritising holistic driving experience over just engine or styling upgrades. For fleets, first-time car buyers, and tech-savvy customers alike, this means a future where safety and connectivity form key purchase criteria.
